This was my first visit. We decided to try the Caribbean Stop.The oxtails and rice and beans were delicious! Cabbage was a little under cooked and dry for my taste, but was seasoned well! I really don't eat jerk chicken, so I am not sure what it's supposed to taste like. What we had was a little too dry for us, but it was seasoned well. The lady that waited on us was really nice. I wish I had gotten her name. I will definitely stop in again.

The reviews made me try this spot. They just opened in February apparently and some of the reviews are a little questionable to me. It is definitely a nice takeout spot, but I think there’s room for improvement. I went for the first time. Initially, I ordered oxtails but apparently they don’t have any for the next few days. Instead, I ordered the jerk chicken meal and an order of mac n cheese. The mac and cheese was seasoned differently than I had before. It was really tasty but different. That’s the best way I can describe it. I was told that the jerk chicken was ready and that it’d be a 5-minute wait. I waited 15-20 minutes. The jerk chicken was not cooked to the bone. I still saw some blood in it. It also was a bit too salty. The portion size was good, but not worth $15 in my opinion. I also think that the chicken needs to be marinated for much longer.
